Ayurveda is one of India’s oldest and traditional systems of medicines that have survived in Indian medical sciences from times immemorial. It is derived from the ancient Sanskrit roots – “ayus” meaning life and “ved” meaning knowledge. Originating from the last 5000 years, the recommendations are different for people with different lifestyle.

• Honey – Honey contains proteins, fats, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, fructose, glucose, lactose, volatile aromatic substances, ashes and water.
